Anatomy of Stainless Steel Tanks
Stainless Steel Tanks: Anatomy

Manhole Cover
(Right) provides two-way action, opening horizontally to clear low ceilings, as well as vertically. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion.
Self-supporting top
Is available in truncated, conical and dished configurations.
Radius corners
At both top and bottom of tank add strength and make cleaning easier.
Dimpled cooling jackets.
Low-pressure dimpled or channel jackets for glycol and water are available for our stainless steel tanks – also high-pressure flow of freon or ammonia. Both of these systems ensure continuous precise control of temperature.
Dual-action Oval Manhole
Opens inward, flips over and swings out. The unobstructed 16 x 20 inch opening makes tank cleaning easier. Also available in 20 x 24 inch.
Full-drain Outswing Manhole
Has an 18-inch opening for easy removal of pumace. Also available in 24″ diameter, 16″ x 20″ rectangular outswing.
Rectangular door
(Right) offers 25% more room than the 18″ round and easily fits the shape of rakes and shovels. Adds to the ease of emptying pomace.
Tank Stand
Built from Stainless Steel or Stands with an epoxy painted coating. Custom colors are available.
